2008 Bible Prophecy Prediction?
Has the 2008 Bible Prophecy prediction gone bad? 2008 Bible prophecy is a name I've given to another modern-day prediction gone bad. Sometime in 2007, I received a phone call from a gentlemen who wanted to introduced me to some new books on prophecy. He offered to send them to me without charge in the form of PDF files which I graciously accepted.
He then went on to tell me that these were some of the greatest prophetic writings ever produced and that I would see the events described within them come to pass the following year.

But, are earthquakes in divers places, signs of the times? There are so many earthquakes that occur every day that they don't even make the news. Why, because earthquakes are a common occurrence.

Corruption prevails and deception swells like a
widening storm.
Chaos reigns in the streets. People are given
false hope. False Messiah with promises of
peace pervade the landscape.
Trade and commerce come to a screeching halt. Merchants near and far suffer from the ...

Any reasonable person desires peace over war and bloodshed. When people or nations civilly work out their differences much good results. While the predominant themes in modern eschatological views focus on political and military battles, this was not the focus of Christ.
These were merely incidental to the accomplishment of God’s eternal purpose which was the restoration or reconciliation of man to himself. That is ...
