Kingdom of God Established in Judgment Isaiah 2:2 is often used as a proof-text for the time of the kingdom to be established. The view of some is that AD 30 marks the time for the establishment of the church. However, the text of Isaiah 2 is much more broad than this narrowly interpretive view. In fact, the very first verse of Isaiah 2 expresses a burden, a prophetic utterance which means judgment.
