The Body Is Sown In Corruption
In the study of eschatology, the resurrection of the body is the subject of heated debate. Perhaps because we are so inseparably connected to our bodies, we are deeply invested in what happens to them in what is called the end times.
Expositors generally take it for granted that bodily resurrection is about the transformation and morphing of our physical bodies into spiritual ones. This is not the subject of our current study. In this segment on the body is sown in corruption, we will focus on the sowing in continuation from our first article. See ...

1. I made my opening statements on the "time" of the occurrence of the resurrection. I cited the framework for the eschatological work of the Holy Spirit, Mic 7:15 which is 40 years, as the days of Israel coming out of Egypt.
Next, Deut. 31:29; 32:5, 20 focused on the "terminal generation" of Israel in their last days, which is the generation living in the time of Christ, and which he and the apostles referred to as the "wicked and adulterous generation", the "perverse and crooked" generation. Earlier today, I while searching for a book I'm writing on the resurrection but could not locate in my computer files (tells how long ago since I've worked on it), I found another brief paper I'd written on the topic at hand. It was dated 2010.
Because of recent discussions on resurrection, i.e. debates and correspondence via email, podcasts and college papers, mostly from partial preterists and IBD advocates the subject ...

The Kingdom of God and Immortality

They believe that the focus of immortality, eternal life and incorruption has as its center, a remaking of the physical body of man.
At its core, is the idea that man's body is evil in some way, i.e. that it has fallen under a sinful nature from which it cannot escape in this life, except through death.
Further, such escape is only available to those who obey the gospel. This thinking permeates ...
