Matthew 5:18 Defining the Law
In many dialogues about the Law, one issue that creates confusion is the definition of the Law. For those who seek to impose the Law of Moses as yet binding, they argue that all Christ did when he came was change the law regarding the sacrifices. In other words, everything else in the law must be kept with the exception of the animal sacrifices. Is this factual?
Is it possible to change the sacrifices without changing essential elements of the Law? First, there is the object of the sacrifice, i.e. the animal itself which is offered as a ...

The Paul and Moses Debate
What is it all about? Some claim that Paul's writings are a kind of stumbling block or test to prove whether believers would walk in the Law of Moses. Because Paul's writings appear to teach things "contrary to the law" which they don't, it is concluded that he is an inferior Apostle.
In a video titled, The Truth of "Paul the Benjamite" various arguments are presented to discredit Paul. This is not intended to prove the validity of Paul's writings per se, but rather to demonstrate that there are no contradictions between Paul and Moses.

Eschatology in Galatians

Hagar is the covenant of bondage and answers to "Jerusalem" which "NOW IS". There is the word now in context, in the first century. Paul did not say it NOW "WAS", but it "NOW IS".
Next he says Hagar was in "bondage with her children", i.e. the Old Covenant people he now refers to as the "Ishmael" of the allegory. Next, he says but the Jerusalem which is ABOVE is ...

Kurt Simmons Misrepresents Covenant Eschatology View on the Law of Moses
I've received the latest issue of Fulfilled Magazine, edited Brian L. Martin and published by Fulfilled Communications Group. In this edition are two articles on the resurrection, one by Kurt Simmons and another by Ed Stevens. In later articles we will respond to both resurrection, the kingdom and the sowing of the body.
However, for now it is important to give a brief recap of some misrepresentations Simmons makes in his article, especially as it relates to the full preterist position on the fulfillment of the Law. This article is rather ...

The Ten Commandments in the Bible
Ten Commandments from Mt. Sinai
I want to make a few observations about how some seek to separate the ten commandments in the law of Moses from the prophets to justify a future return of Christ.
One example of this is the view of some that the Law only refers to the ten commandments found in Exodus chapter 20. Not all agree with this, but many do. This becomes quite apparent when they are seeking to ridicule and refute fulfilled end times prophecy.
"The Old Law which which is the things contained in the 10 commandments in ...
