The Kingdom of God Has Come
In an age of "enlightenment" such as that in which we live we yet find that many have difficulty understanding the presence and fulfillment of the kingdom of God.
A few simple texts are suggested for a dialogue on the topic by those who see the kingdom as yet to be fulfilled. Others have chosen a dual fulfillment of the kingdom ascribing texts which connect the arrival of the kingdom with the second coming of Christ as referring to heaven, 2 Pet 1:11; Matt. 25:31, 34.

Eschatological Observations
Eschatological Studies">
The kingdom of God is quite an important topic in the scriptures. It is part and parcel of the Hebrew scriptures and covenant which God gave to Moses at Sinai. Israel was to be a kingdom of priests. "And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priest and a holy nation..." (Ex. 19:7).

Eschatological Impact on Salvation
What is the eschatological impact on salvation? The first time I encountered the word eschatological was in the eighties during an eschatology (from which the word is derived) seminar. Obviously, former group do not believe that Jesus has come ...

What Is the Connection Between Eschatology And The Faith?
The subject of Christ's return in AD 70 continues to be a major hurdle for believers, especially as it concerns eschatology and the faith. Many are not aware that the faith as system of salvation is achieved only through the consummation of the end times. In other words, it cannot be separated from the coming of the Lord. (Visit the audio page to listen to an audio version of eschatology and the faith.)
To establish our premise that the faith is directly correlated with the parousia, we cite a familiar text from Old ...
Birth Pangs of Romans 8:22|A Church in Labor
Birth Pangs of A Church in Labor
What are the birth pangs of Romans 8 indicative of relative to the creation? This is a very significant term. It helps to set the context, time and significance of the events of Romans 8:18-23. The passage is related to an event which often is misunderstood and misapplied. Fortunately for us, we have a context in the Old covenant which sheds light on the meaning of the passage. We'll get to that in a moment.
At least four times in the New Testament, the inspired writers call attention to the birth pangs of the church. ...
