About the 8th century BC, Isaiah prophesied destruction concerning Egypt. YHWH would bring a judgment upon them. Formerly, Egypt attacked and fought against Judah.
But here, the name Judah would become a terror to the Egyptians. Their once furious warriors would become fearful as women.

Is Christ Coming on the Clouds of Heaven?
The influence of Dispensationalism and Amillennialism have persuaded many that Jesus may at any moment be seen coming on the clouds of heaven. By this they mean that his return is near and that we will see him in the air riding upon literal clouds. But is this the manner in which the Bible uses the terms coming on the clouds of heaven? Should we look for a literal descent of the Lord in the skies?

Did God Condemn All Body Art?
Does Leviticus 19:28 apply to all body art or just to tattoos? Some argue that Leviticus 19:28 is without restriction, i.e. is not limited to the occult practices of marking the body on behalf of the dead. "You shall not shave around the sides or your head, nor shall you disfigure the edges of your beard. You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you: I am the Lord." (Lev. 19:27-28).

Paul writes that the "children of the flesh" i.e. those born of Abraham's physical lineage are not what constitute the "seed" of Abraham. (9:6-8) Rather, the children of "promise" are counted for the the seed. "And if you are Christ's then are you Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise." (Gal. 3:29).

Do the Egyptians belong in Mt. Zion? From the beginning of Covenant Israel's history and quest for nationhood, a mixed multitude traveled with them from Egypt. Moses was married to an Ethiopian. In the latter days Egypt and Israel's relationship once again unite, not as master and slave but as brethren in the new temple keeping the Feasts of the Lord.
