Google Hangouts Live Review of Carl Albert's Response to the Resurrection
Later today, I will conduct a Live Google Hangouts. This will be part 2 of my reply to Carl Albert's critique of a resurrection study which Don K Preston and I did at the end of one of his Preterist Pilgrim Weekends.
It's been a while ago so I don't remember the year. At any rate, Mr. Albert, whom I debated in July of this year (2015) responded to it. He stated he was using it to prepare for his debate with Michael Miano. I'm not sure that debate occurred.
We presented our ...

Memphis Eschatology Conference
Can you believe we are now in the last hour before the Memphis Eschatology Conference begins? I have been trying to finish up details here and there so I can get to sleep before I leave in about an hour for a meeting. Doesn't look like it's going to happen. So, if I don't get a catnap, I'll be walking around in a daze.
At any rate, we've heard from some who left home a few hours ago and are about to descend upon the city of Memphis. We're looking forward to seeing you. We've also heard from some ...

June 3rd, 2014 | Eschatology | No Comment
Don K. Preston, D. Div, and Dr. Michael Brown will participate in a debate on Who Is Israel coming up in just a few at 3:30pm Central time.

Dr. Brown spent the majority of his time establishing a point from Romans 11 that the context ...

AD 70 A Shadow of the Real End?
AD 70 A Shadow of the Real End?
Recently, I had the privilege of reviewing Don Preston's new book AD 70 A Shadow of the Real End?, (available in paperback and on Kindle). It was one of the most exciting and refreshing reads on eschatology I have been privileged to experience in a while.
If you've never speed read before, or thought it was impossible, just pick up this book. You'll be racing through the chapters to get to the next argument as he dismantles sophistry in the most straight forward and simple fashion.

McDurmon's Affirmative Speech
Joel McDurmon attempted to establish in his affirmative that there is a yet future terminal last day, with a limited number of elect Christians being saved after which God's "finite" redemptive program ends.
John 5:28-29
Joel starts by citing John 5:24-29. He attempts to make a temporal distinction between the imminence which he acknowledged and affirmed in verse 25:
"Most assuredly, I say to you, an hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live." Joel agreed like full preterists that this text refers to events ...
