Adam and Eve were God’s “newborn”
babies. They were newborn in that
they were “born” of God.
As babies, they came into this world
naked and unashamed. This time
represented the period of their innocence.
But, something significant happened in their lives which caused them to lose their child-like innocence. Adam and Eve help us to understand “Eschatology and the Tabernacle – Why Can’t
Naked People Go to Heaven?”
To Adam, God had commanded that he eat of every tree in the garden which God had made. In the garden, all trees desirable for food were found. Also, there was the tree of life and the tree ...

This third segment on Eschatology – Have
heaven and earth passed?, is part of an
agglomeration of about seven posts we
made on this topic.
All of this information is only part of the
picture in the study of the passing of the
Old Covenant.
Here, we look into the New Testament
expressions of Christ and the Apostles to
note how they applied these texts from
the Old Covenant.
To begin, let us consider what should be a rather easy very to grasp.
Yet it’s meaning creates quite a disagreement among interpreters. The former two lessons on this topic are indispensable to get the full meaning of what we say here.

As we continue this study, Have Heaven
Heaven and Earth Passed?, Part 2, the reader
is urged to consider part 1 of this triad.
We established the non-destruction of the
material heaven and earth per part one.
Here, we further examine the use of language
describing the end of the Old Covenant World.
The Psalmist takes up the question of the
non-permanent status of the Jewish world.
In Psalms 102:25–27, David, spoke not of the end of the planet for reasons stated in segment one of this study, (See Have Heaven and Earth Passed, Part 1) but of the end of the Jewish age or covenantal world.
This text demonstrates God’s figurative manner of describing the end of ...

Welcome to part four of the series on the
when the law passed. This lesson on
Eschatology – Have Heaven and Earth
Passed?, Part 4,focuses on Matt. 5:17–18.
The Lord gave very specific details
concerning the fulfillment of the Old
Covenant.
He tied it to the passing of heaven and
earth. Those unfamiliar with covenant
language may ascribe the meaning of
these words to the physical world in which we live.
The Jews of ancients times had no concept of the end of the material world. In fact, we demonstrate later,
they understood very clearly God's promises that the material world would never end.

In this, the third study, attention is focused on
the words of Christ in Luke 24:44–47. This text
had a profound impact on my studies when I
began writing on it over a decade ago.
Those who believe the end time events are yet
future, do not readily recognize or acknowledge
the implications of that conclusion.
For example, the Dispensationalists assume that
the law has not yet been fulfilled. They are at
least consistent in their reasoning on that point.
They understand that to fulfill the law means that all the prophecies
are fulfilled. Thus to accept that the law is fulfilled wipes out their entire millennial theory, Rapture and the ...
