Premillennial Preterism Premillennial Preterism is the term ascribed to those who believe that Christ returned in judgment upon Jerusalem in A.D. 70, not to end the millennium already in progress, but to begin the millennium of a 1000  years. Unlike Premillennialism espoused by Lindsay and other Leftbehind advocates which holds the millennium to be yet future, it suggests the thousand years reign commenced in AD 70 and is ongoing. In Dispensationalism Does “At Hand” Mean “Not At Hand”? When the Lord spoke of his kingdom, he said the time was fulfilled, and the kingdom had drawn near. (Mark 1:14, 15). Christ came to make good on the promise of the restoration of the kingdom to Israel. For this reason the disciples preached announcing the kingdom as at hand. We continue our response to the arguments raised by Dr. Hinson’s article, the New Last Days Scoffers, published in the May 2005 issue of The National Liberty Journal.
