Does Paul Use The Aorist Subjunctive In A Didactic Context?
While most of the attention has been on 1 Corinthians 15:49 (See the previous article, nicknamed the Obituary). The best MSS all carry the “Omega” (long o) in phoresomen (?????????) versus (?????????) making it aorist subjunctive, and thus to be rendered as hortatory.
According to Ray Summers, “The hortatory subjunctive is the use of the first person plural to exhort others to join us in an action. "elthomen eis ton ?ikon," “Let us go into the house”. This is exactly the form found in 1 Corinthians 15:49. It is aor. 1, subj. ...

Heavenly Body Definition of 1 Corinthians 15:49
There is some discussion on the rendering of the heavenly body definition of 1 Corinthians 15:49 in the Greek. The discussion arises out of the rendering of one letter in the Greek. Why The Already But Not Yet Is Important
It is vital to our study of the resurrection of the body to understand the significance of the already but not yet. One of the major objections to the Covenant Body View is the corporate ...

Resurrection of the Body and the End Times Framework
On Facebook, in the Preterist Perspectives page, we are discussing the resurrection of the body and the end times framework. Our aim is to determine whether this framework establishes the individual body at death (IBV) view or the covenant body (CBV). Which is the correct framework for eschatology.
Many are interested in the resurrection. It continues to be the most challenging topic for those seeking to understand the consummation of the end times message. Gordon Fee, Professor emeritus of New Testament studies in British Columbia, UK, has written some very powerful statements affirming ...
