What is the kingdom Christ rules with a rod of iron? According to Revelation 2:26-27, Christ would rule over the nations with a rod of iron.
For many, this means that Christ would return to earth to sit upon a literal throne in Jerusalem.
They do not understand how God can rule over the nations and at the same time not have a physical presence on earth.
Others believe that since the verse above refers to the end times prophecy of ruling over the nations, they assume that all the nations must be inside the kingdom.

The kingdom of God is quite an important topic in the scriptures. It is part and parcel of the Hebrew scriptures and covenant which God gave to Moses at Sinai. Israel was to be a kingdom of priests. "And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priest and a holy nation..." (Ex. 19:7).
