Book of Revelation-Events About To Come
Does the Book of Revelation speak of events which "are" about to come? Those who see all prophecy as yet unfulfilled believe so. They often can be found citing Revelation 1:19, to depict events past in the Apostle John's time, things presently occurring when he wrote, and amazingly, things far distant in the future, even to those of us living today.
However, in this video, we demonstrate that John's writings cannot be twisted to mean a far distant future. The wording is very precise and specific that he meant in a very short time.
The Last of the Last Hour

The Last of the last hour clearly answers the question of the end times events in the Bible, particularly the resurrection, the Messianic temple, the coming of the eternal kingdom of God and the parousia.
The Lord and the apostles' testimony combine to show how critically new the hour of crisis was for those living in the first century generation. In this video we remove all doubt on how to understand and communicate this nearness.
Passages explored are John 4:20-24, 5:28-29, Romans 13:11-12 and 2 Peter 1:16-19.

During this time those who practice the Old Covenant are in celebration of the Fall Feast Days beginning with Rosh Hoshanah, (the Feast of Trumpets). In this video we give some background to the Feast Days and their relevance to the imminent coming of the kingdom in the times of John, the Immerser, and Jesus Christ, who both announced the kingdom as "at hand".
The apostles likewise followed this message. The spring and summer festivals focus on the inaugeration of the kingdom while the fall festivals focus on the consummation of that same kingdom within the same imminent time framework. ...

Sam Frost is a former full preterist. He left full preterism a few years ago and returned to futurism. Since that time, he has become a self-styled champion opponent of the full preterist view.
In discussions on Facebook, we have sparred back and forth on the doctrine of the resurrection. Recently, he posted to his blog, and shared the link on Facebook in response to an argument I and perhaps others made on John 11 25 -26.
Joh 11:24 Martha said to Him, "I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day." Joh 11:25 Jesus ...
Job 19 25-27 Out of My Flesh I Shall See God

Over 25 years ago, I made some notes in preparation for my public oral debate with Stephen Wiggins. Since that time, I have heard that Stephen has earned his doctorate.
At any rate, I can't remember whether or not this text came up in the debate, but it surely has come up since that time. Recently, those new to Covenant Eschatology have presented Job 19 25-27 as an objection to the parousia of Christ having occurred in 70AD.
Their argument follows the line of most reasoning for a yet future physical return of Christ to the earth. Usually, a ...
