In Isaac Shall Thy Seed Be Called
by William Bell
The problem most have with interpreting the "seed" in Jeremiah 31:35-37 is beginning in the "middle" or at the "end" rather than at the beginning. God defined the "seed" of Abraham in Gen. 12:7; 21:12; 22:18 (which by the way is none other than the "seed" in Gen. 3:15).
He said, "In Isaac shall thy seed be called". A significant point about Isaac is that God commands Abraham to "kill him" (offer him as a sacrifice) which he did (Gen. 22:1-12; Heb. 11:17-19).
The significance of this point is missed. Isaac was Abraham's natural ...

No More Tears In Bible Prophecy
What is the meaning of "no more tears" in prophetic texts of Scripture? At the coming of the new heavens and earth, when the holy city descended from heaven and the tabernacle of God is with men, the text says there would be no more crying, nor death, sorrow and pain. This latter phrase is echoed in Revelation 18 with the fall of Mystery Babylon who receives "double" for her sins. The southern kingdom of Judah, ...

In This Mountain "The Death" Is Swallowed Up In Victory
Is the Death Swallowed up in victory?
And in this mountain the Lord of hosts will make for all people a feast of choice pieces, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, Of well-refined wines on the lees, and He will destroy on this mountain the surface of the covering cast over all people, and the veil that is spread over all nations. He will swallow up death forever, and the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces; the rebuke of His people ...

The debate will discuss Israel and Eschatology. This is a very significant debate, for a very significant time on a very significant subject by two very significant disputants. Dr. Brown spent the majority of his time establishing a point from Romans 11 that the context ...
