The Local Church Post 70AD?
What is the status of the local church post 70 AD? Some see no relevance for the local church after Christ's returned in the first century. They believe that the church only continued up to that point, claiming it was a Jewish institution. We dealt with that fallacy in the previous article on Israel's Hope - The Body of Christ. We strongly encourage you to look at some of the points we made.
Since we discussed the "body of Christ" in particular, our focus was on the church as the divine institution sent down from heaven by ...

Anxiety in the Church Over the Great Tribulation
The great tribulation prophecy in the Old Testament continues to baffle readers of the Bible. Is this event soon to occur? Should we be fear? For those who are Preterists, we know that this concern is totally unfounded. There is not such notion as a tribulation in our future related to any of the end times prophecies of the Bible. There are no signs of the times that signal such an event is near.
Yet, many will never take the time and read to discover the simplicity of fulfilled Bible prophecy, at least not ...

Leftbehind and the Tribulation Period
Some of the most popular Leftbehind books on eschatology are based on the mythological teaching of a future Rapture of the saints on earth. The
future Tribulation Period teaching books by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins have steered so many in the wrong direction regarding the end times.
The idea that God will one day en mass remove all Christians from the earth is totally unfounded in Scripture. In fact, it is diametrically opposite to what the Biblical text says. The principle which must be kept in mind is that we're discussing judgment passages.
Christ did not leave ...

they believe the end time addresses and resolves the termination of
our humanity.
Given this paradigm, it is easy to see how difficult attempting to explain how death is destroyed in Christ could be one of those ideas that would provoke questions on how death comes to an end?
People are Always Dying and Always Will Die
When we speak about fulfilled eschatology, people always ask questions about why we continue to die. ...
The Time Element of Bible Prophecy
September 22nd, 2008 | Eschatology | No Comment
The greatest problem some encounter when seeking
to understand the return of Christ may be one of
the easiest to resolve. It requires reading, faith
to believe and a little common sense.
What is the key that unlocks this door of difficulty?
"Time.” If this one factor were understood the
questions would quickly change from “when” is
the Lord coming to “how” did he come?
As long as the underlying fundamental of time is
understood and accepted, we have the framework
that can lead us to understanding “how.” If we
reject the element of “time” particularly “imminent”
time as will be demonstrated below, we are often left
open to form all types ...
