We are responding to Dr. Edward Hinson’s
attack on Preterism. Among questions
entertained already, he submits yet another
one which he believes refutes Preterism.
Paul asks in “Romans 11, Has God Cast Away His People, Israel?” Dr. Hinson teaches Preterism implies such. We deny the charge.
He asks, “If God is finished with ethnic Israel, why did Paul ask: “Has God cast away his people?” “And why did he respond so emphatically, “ God forbid!” (Rom. 11:1)
First we must note that this text is written prior to A.D. 70. At that time God had not cast off the Old Covenant nation. However, today, since that ...

Daniel 12
In this, our second installment on the resurrection in Daniel, we examine the Lord’s divine commentary on Daniel 12:2. Did Christ See Daniel’s Appointed Time? In the first segment we noted that Daniel identified the “time of the end” as the appointed time for the indignation or anger of God against his people Israel.
Daniel 8:17, 19, shows that it was the time of consummation. At that time God would destroy the holy people, Dan. 8:24, 7:25, 12:7, and bring an end to the Old Covenant nation. It is also at this time when God would deliver the righteous, describing it as ...

However, both the prophets and the apostles addressed the resurrection as a time of awakening from sleep. Using that metaphor, we approach the subject. When I was a young boy, my mother had a time for us to arise. We however, did not always like the time ...
Will God Establish David’s Throne on Earth?

Who is the new king of Ezekiel 37:22–25 that will reign on
David's Throne over the reunited kingdom of Judah and Israel?
This prophecy is very important because it says that at that
time God makes Israel one nation again, he would gather
them from every side and bring them into their own land;
and one king shall be over them.
Some take this prophecy as a literal return of Israel to the
land of Palestine citing 1948, as its fulfillment. Premillennialists
have gone on record saying that 1948 was a “Super Sign of
the End ” of the age, meaning the Rapture was imminent and
that Israel had to ...
