Law of Moses and Amillennial Eschatology
In the previous study on 2 Corinthians Chapter 3, we discussed the Law of Moses showing that it continued beyond Jesus' death on the cross in A.D. 3. We also demonstrated that it was yet in the process of being fulfilled when Paul wrote the second epistle. Thirdly, we demonstrated that the fulfillment of the Law of Moses was Paul's hope. There is but one hope of the gospel (Eph. 4:5). Therefore, the fulfillment of the Law of Moses fulfills the gospel hope.

The Law of Moses in 2 Corinthians 3
No discussion on the fulfillment of eschatology should omit the study of the Law of Moses in 2 Corinthians 3. It is such a rich text on the background of Israel's experience under Torah, the events of Sinai and their application to a then present transition. In most Amillennial studies, the law of Moses ends at the cross, is completely fulfilled then, with nothing to be heard of it from that time forward.

A Day As A Thousand Years - Christian Eschatology
Second Peter three is a much abused text in the study of Christian eschatology (the end times and last days prophecy). One of the most abused passages in the chapter is verse 8. "But beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day." How have the futurists, skeptics and Dispensationalists used this verse? In a word, backwards.
What I mean is that they have used it in exactly the opposite manner as that intended by the Apostle. ...

Signs of the End Times
No teaching appears to have challenged the status quo on the signs of the end times as has Preterism. As more people become aware of it, more literature and speeches begin to reflect this pendulum swing in the right direction. In time, this can only mean that more people will understand the true significance of the Old Covenant promises and the new people of God.
It is the common belief of Dispensational Premillennialism that the state of Israel is the fulfillment of prophecy.

Is God Late On Fulfilled Prophecy?
In the previous study, we ended in Isaiah 28:14-19, on a discussion of the scoffers. Now we address the subject, A Day Is As A Thousand Years - Is God Late on Fulfilled Prophecy? Before delving specifically into that question, it is essential that we continue our thoughts on the scoffers. We pointed out that God prophesied some 800 years before it occurred that they would come with lies saying the end was not near.
That means that if they were lying as scoffers against an imminent coming, then God, Christ and the Apostles had to ...
