The Kingdom of God Has Arrived?
A great concern with many people is whether the kingdom of God is near? How can we know? The most reasonable way to discover the answer to this question is to inquire from the scriptures. What does the Bible say about the kingdom of God?
It is quite well known that Jesus announced the coming of his kingdom. In so doing, he stated that it was both at hand and would arrive before those living in his day died? Why is this not well known, publicized and preached?
For example, in Mark 1;14, Jesus urged repentance saying ...

Micah and the Endtimes
Micah, who prophesied contemporaneously with Isaiah, spoke of the latter days when God would come to bring both judgment and peace. This two-fold purpose of eschatology is often downplayed to pit one against the other. We're told that if God is coming to judge the nations, then he is not bringing peace or salvation. On the other hand if it is a coming for salvation, then judgment is excluded.
This is not the case. According to the prophets, both judgment and salvation are concurrent events of the endtimes teaching in the scriptures. Micah, the prophet, as did Isaiah, ...

The Kingdom of God and Resurrection
1 Corinthians 15 is butchered by most interpreters, especially the text regarding inheriting the kingdom of God, (v. 50). In this writing, I want to suggest another angle from which to consider the meaning of inheriting the kingdom so that the focus is not on human bodies coming out of graveyards. This view distorts the chapter and runs far amiss of what the apostle had in mind.
Flesh and Blood and the Kingdom of God
As we examine the context of 1 Corinthians 15:50, we should question why Paul uses the concept of "flesh and blood" as ...

problem finishing what they start.
However, I don’t recall knowing
to many people who finish what
they don’t start.
Why did Paul finish the kingdom
preaching he never started? What
do I mean?
Well, if you have checked out the our most recent posts, you know that we have been tracking Paul’s “kingdom” preaching in Acts.
Efforts are underway to undermine the “preaching of the kingdom of
God,” by saying that Paul, nor the apostles ever preached the kingdom of God.
Did the Apostles Preach the Kingdom of God?
In other words, the logic is, if it can be demonstrated by ...

One cannot properly study the subject of
eschatology without considering the role
and mission of the Holy Spirit.
We refer to this as the eschatological mission
of the Spirit. Our question, “Eschatology, Did
the Holy Spirit Complete His Mission?, sums
up the sphere and
relationship of the Spirit’s mission.
Further, it provides another piece of the end times puzzle which demonstrates the first century fulfillment of Christ’s Parousia.
Beginning with the Old Covenant Scriptures we find a brief survey of the Spirit’s role in eschatology. The New Testament expands that role, placing all end times and fulfillment of Bible prophecy within the scope of the Holy Spirit.
