Matthew 24 and the Signs of the Times
Are the natural events affecting the country today signs of the end? Jesus spoke of earthquakes, famines and pestilence in divers places. Was he speaking about the current floods, fires, hurricanes and earthquakes in North America. People are trying to make sense of it all. Others are questioning God's justice and care. What answers can we give them on what is going on around them?

Nostradamus and Camping
Nostradamus and Camping at their respective times each have some common end of the world roads which never meet. They have both predicted the end of the world and nothing has happened. We are a few hours past the much publicized catastrophe announced for months by Family Radio which had many who spent thousands of dollars on billboards, signs and travel to publicize this non-rapture.

Obviously, they expect the year 2012 to pass without so much as a spark, let alone the end of the planet.

Seems we have another statement ...

future Tribulation Period teaching books by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins have steered so many in the wrong direction regarding the end times.
The idea that God will one day en mass remove all Christians from the earth is totally unfounded in Scripture. In fact, it is diametrically opposite to what the Biblical text says. The principle which must be kept in mind is that we're discussing judgment passages.
Christ did not leave ...
Earthquakes in Divers Places, Signs of the Times?
May 15th, 2009 | Eschatology | 33 Comments
More end time prophets are on the horizon, predicting the end of the world from a series of recent earthquakes in California and elsewhere around the country. But, are earthquakes in divers places, signs of the times? There are so many earthquakes that occur every day that they don't even make the news. Why, because earthquakes are a common occurrence.
This information can easily be checked through the US Geological Earthquake Hazards Survey Program, (USGS). There are so many earthquakes that occur daily that they only measure those of 2.5 rating or higher in and near the U.S. To point to ...
