The Prophets of God
Do the prophets of God yet speak? In consideration of this question, we examine a text of the Hebrew Prophets which receives very little commentary in revelation prophecies.
Perhaps the reason is the language of the text speaks of causing the prophets to depart from the land. We insert the verses here to give you the complete context.
In that day a fountain shall be opened for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for uncleanness. It shall be in that day, says the Lord of hosts, that I will cut off the ...
What is the Power of Prophecy?

Power of Prophecy
What is the power of prophecy? One of the best ways I can illustrate the answer to that question as an introduction is to tell you about my own personal story. Shortly after becoming a Christian, I was told that there were several religions and that Christianity might not be true. This greatly disturbed me as I surely was seeking God at the time and wanted to know that I had done the right thing by obeying the Bible.
I was in despair, and certainly void of the skills I have developed in research, the many resources I have ...

The Body of Christ - The Hope of Israel
It is claimed by some that the body of Christ, i.e. the church of Christ was not prophesied in the Old Covenant. They believe that the body of Christ is an accident, a temporary stop-gap measure as a result of the Jesus' failure to establish the kingdom of God. But, Paul preached the body of Christ. Those who claim the church is an accident cannot ...

Micah and the Endtimes
Micah, who prophesied contemporaneously with Isaiah, spoke of the latter days when God would come to bring both judgment and peace. This two-fold purpose of eschatology is often downplayed to pit one against the other. We're told that if God is coming to judge the nations, then he is not bringing peace or salvation. On the other hand if it is a coming for salvation, then judgment is excluded.
This is not the case. According to the prophets, both judgment and salvation are concurrent events of the endtimes teaching in the scriptures. Micah, the prophet, as did Isaiah, ...

Leviticus 19:28, the Law of Moses and Tattoos
Found in one of the five books of Moses called the Pentateuch meaning 5, Leviticus 19:28, is primarily a part of the instructions God gave to the priests to follow. They were also the God-appointed teachers of the nation. It was their responsibility to teach Israel the ways of God. The Levitical priests were cast into this role by default. Don K. Preston, who co-hosts "The Two Men and a Bible" radio broadcast at AD70.net which airs on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. central, pointed out in our presentation last night that the Levites ...
