Olivet Discourse: Has the Kingdom of God Arrived?

Olivet Discourse: Has the Kingdom of God Arrived? Matthew, Mark and Luke, all record the Olivet Discourse. However, only one explicitly mention the coming of the kingdom of God. While all gospels speak of the coming kingdom, only Luke connected it with Jesus' address on the Mount of Olives.
The kingdom is the reign of God in men's hearts. Luke recorded Jesus' words that during the Roman conflagration of Jerusalem in A.D. 70, the kingdom would be near. "So likewise you, when you see all these things, know that the kingdom of God has drawn near."
The question we ask is did ...

In Dispensationalism Does “At Hand” Mean“Not At Hand”? When the Lord spoke of hiskingdom, he said the time was fulfilled, andthe kingdom had drawn near. (Mark 1:14, 15).
Christ came to make good on the promise of the restoration of the
kingdom to Israel. For this reason the disciples preached announcing the kingdom as at hand. Christ sent them neither to the Gentiles or Samaritans, but to the lost sheep of the house of Israel, (Matt. 10:5,6)
Christ sent the disciples to the lost sheep of the house of Israel with a false message. What do we mean? They did so, in complete obedience to Christ, rejoicing at ...
When Would God Restore the Kingdom to Israel?
March 23rd, 2009 | Kingdom | No Comment
We continue our response to the arguments
raised by Dr. Hinson’s article, the New Last
Days Scoffers, published in the May 2005
issue of The National Liberty Journal.
This writing answers the question of When
Would God Restore the Kingdom to Israel?
The question assumes that God is finished
with Israel. We discussed that particular
issue in the previous post, regarding
Romans 11.
These are merely straw man arguments which are assumed to be implications for Christ’s first century return.
If the church replaces Israel and becomes the kingdom of God on earth, why did the disciples ask Jesus at the ascension; “Lord, will you at this time restore the kingdom ...
Will We Face The Great Tribulation?
December 15th, 2008 | Rapture of the church | 1 Comment
The great tribulation announced by the
prophets Jeremiah and Daniel precedes
the consummation of the Jewish age.
Will we today face the great tribulation?
Many think so. Others believe that an
Arab-Israel (Zionist) war, in the Middle
East will signal an end time Armageddon.
Many labor under an end time myth. It is
believed that we are headed for the great
tribulation, a precursor of an end time battle
of Armageddon.
Jeremiah wrote of the great tribulation. He called the time of Jacob’s trouble. (Jer. 30:7) The time would be so severe that God likens it to men having babies like women in labor.
For some in Israel it meant destruction. For others, God promised to ...

Are You waiting for the Second Coming?
One church of 45 members in Strong
City New Mexico recently waited till midnight.
Wayne Bent, claims to be anointed by
God as the Messiah. Recently, he and
his followers hopes were dashed while
they waited till midnight for the Rapture.
They were tired of the burden’s of earthly
life and wanted to checkout early, via
deliverance from the Lord.
Somehow, they miscalculated on the
date of the Lord’s return. They expected
to hear the last trumpet sound to end
the year of Jubilee.
Unfortunately, all was silent and according
to reports from Strong City, Mr. Bent, went
to jail.
This is a clear example and logical end
of the erroneous ...
