Are Your Tattoos A Sin?
Our examination of this study arose from a buzz on the internet regarding tattoos. Tattoos are so common today that not many people take much notice. I'm sure everyone remembers former basketball star, Dennis Rodman's tattoos. Many others have followed the practice of tattooing or covering their bodies with body art. Our question is can we use Leviticus 19:28 as a text to condemn wearing tattoos? The question is not merely about practice of body art as it is about the proper use and application of the Law of Moses. Our interest is to show ...
What Can We Do To Pursue Spiritual Gifts?

What Can We Do To Pursue Spiritual Gifts? This question comes as a query no doubt from someone who is looking for and expects to receive miraculous gifts of the Spirit. The language of the question mirrors 1 Corinthians 14:1. "Purse love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy."
The influences of futurism and Pentecostalism have made the desire for the practice of spiritual gifts appear to be a valid claim. And, because people believe that religion in general is something that is "better felt than told" it answers the call of man to have an experience to ...

Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary, How Does Your Kingdom Garden Grow? No doubt, we all
remember at least parts of our
nursery rhymes from kindergarten and elementary school. I missed out on kindergarten by starting school a year early. Today, I understand that they make students wait an entire year if their 6th birthday falls after the school year begins.
So, what does nursury rhymes have to do with the kingdom? Well, it asks a very legitimate question. "How does your garden grow? It's important to undertand principles of gardening when speaking about the kingdom. However, if one studies Dispensationalism and its teaching about ...

Ready Garment Have Wrinkles?”
We’ve pointed out a couple of the
wrinkles in the Rapture teaching
advanced by “Charting the End Times.
With all the charting in the book, it never addressed the “little while” time parameter of the end! Note the following passages.
John 16:16–19
A little while, and you will not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me, ...

Are you thirsting for righteousness in the
kingdom of heaven? Many are. Many are
unsure. Many answer yes and no.
For example, if we were to ask this question
from the perspective of Matthew 5:6, how
would you answer?
Bless are those who hunger and thirst for
righteousness, for they shall be filled.
No doubt, many would say, yes, Christ brought us righteousness through his death, burial and resurrection and the
preaching of the gospel.
Now, let’s ask the question from a different text. According to the book of Revelation 7:16, you may read, “They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike ...
