The debate over the nature of the
resurrection body continues.
Paul anticipates a question from some
who ask, How are the dead
raised and with what body do they
come? (1 Cor. 15:35)
He replies with an analogy that is
troubling for many. Foolish one, what
you sow is not made alive unless it dies.
And what you sow, you do not sow
that body that shall be, but mere
grain—perhaps wheat or some other
grain.
Two things Paul says about the
resurrection body in verses 36–37.
It is not made alive unless it
dies.
It is not the same body as that
which is sown.

The greatest problem some encounter when seeking
to understand the return of Christ may be one of
the easiest to resolve. It requires reading, faith
to believe and a little common sense.
What is the key that unlocks this door of difficulty?
"Time.” If this one factor were understood the
questions would quickly change from “when” is
the Lord coming to “how” did he come?
As long as the underlying fundamental of time is
understood and accepted, we have the framework
that can lead us to understanding “how.” If we
reject the element of “time” particularly “imminent”
