24 Hours to Armageddon?

24 Hours to Armageddon? No, this is not a prophecy about an imminent end. However, the Mayan 2012 prophecy is getting a lot of press. A History Channel special begins tonight revealing the sources of the mysterious 2012 date from the Mayan Calendar, Merlin of the medieval times and even the internet. Now that latter one has to take you aback just a bit. Searches on the internet about the end reveals the date 2012! That makes it true, right? Wrong!

The best we may get from 2012 are some self-fulfilling prophecies. Perhaps this is a code date that will prompt a preemptive strike on Iran, the new “scape goat” demanded to justify 21st century colonialist Palestinian holocaust in the Middle East.  Christian Zionism, a blend of right-wing extremist politics and racism disguised as religion continues its support of Zionism’s destructive holocaust of the indigenous people of Palestine whose land they stole and (more…)

Is America Complicit in Shedding Innocent Blood?

Zionism equals terrorism

Is America complicit in Shedding Innocent Blood? One of the charges God made against the ancient nation of Israel was that their hands were defiled with blood and their fingers with iniquity. For this reason, God would not hear them because their iniquities had separated them from Him, so they he refused to hear.

Isaiah went on to say that the acts of violence is in their hands. Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: Their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity. Wasting and destruction are in their paths. The way of peace they have not known and there is no justice in their ways. They have made themselves crooked paths; Whoever takes that way shall not know peace.” (Isa. 59:6-8).

This text could have been published on any of the major news networks such as CNN, ABC, CBS, or the BBC  or Al Jazeera. It would be a pretty accurate description of modern day Zionism and the Apartheid, Colonialist, illegal occupation and confiscation of Palestinian land and the brutal ethnic cleansing of its  people. Like Judas who betrayed the Christ, other nations and U.S. Corporations are complicit in accepting the blood money (more…)

How Was Our Eschatology Mission Trip to Australia?

Eschatology in Australia

On October 16th, Don Preston and I flew from the U.S. to Australia to share messages of fulfilled Bible prophecy. Don graciously invited me as a first time traveler to accompany him on his third trip. We arrived in Sydney on the 18th, spent a couple of days resting and adjusting to jet lag. I had the more difficult time adjusting managing to sleep only 6 hours straight through only 2 nights of the entire trip.

We started our speaking at Tabor college seminary where Don spoke to  the class on “In the Glory of the Father” and where I spoke in the devotional on The Church – God’s Eternal Purpose. Both lessons were well-received by the students.

Our hosts were Al Persohn and Annette, his very organized and beloved companion who stretched themselves beyond measure in the (more…)

Does Dispensationalism Mock Human Rights?

United Nations Security Council.

What Is Zionism?

Does Dispensationalism mock human rights? Does it blindly support aggression against Palestinian Christians, Arab Muslims and Jews?  Tim Weber writes that Dispensationalism emerged in the 1870’s having originated about four decades earlier (1830’s) in England in the teachings of John Nelson Darby. (Road to Armageddon, p. 13). Weber notes that the center of Dispensationalism is the belief that Jews would have to reestablish their own state in the Holy Land, (Palestine) before any endtimes events could occur.

This theological argument fit nicely with the Zionists Jews’ belief that because of persecution, they deserved special treatment and could therefore be safe only in their own land.  Further, it likewise is consistent with America’s general commitment to national self determination.

Early evangelicals began to dabble in date setting. William Miller, a Baptist preacher from Vermont began teaching historicist premillennialism. He calculated Christ would return October 22, 1844. Instead of witnessing a great appearing of the Lord, they (more…)

John Hagee – 10 Roadsigns to the End of the Terminal Generation?

Jews Against Zionism (book)

Religious Jews Speak Out

Today we continue with the third of our segment of John Hagee – 10 Roadsigns to the End of the Terminal Generation?” In this, we focus on the claim that Judaism  is the only nation created by a sovereign act of God.  In as clear words as could be stated, Jesus’ parable of the vinedressers exposes the fate of the Jews who rejected Christ, their Messiah.

“But when the vinedressers saw the son, they said among themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him and seize his inheritance.’ So they took him and cast him out of the vineyard and killed him. Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those vinedressers?” They said to Him, “He will destroy those wicked men miserably, and lease his vineyard to other vinedressers who will render to him the fruits in their seasons.” Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures: The Stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone. This was the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes’?

Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it.  And whoever falls on this stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder.” Now when the chief priests and Pharisees heard His parables, they perceived that he was speaking of them.” (Matthew 21:42-44)

Now we ask in the light of the above, from whom would the kingdom be taken? The answer must be from those who were in (more…)

John Hagee – 10 Signs of the Terminal Generation?

The Terminal Generation: Matthew 24: Dilemma

Hagee offers Ten Road Signs” which he believes confirms that we are living in the end of the age.   The second of those signs is taken from Zechariah 14:12-15, a text he believes speaks of the plague of nuclear warfare and/or chemical weapons.  This he calls the “Plague of the Middle East.” To understand the reasons for citing the Plague in the Middle East as a nuclear holocaust for those who fight against Jerusalem, we must take a look at the text. Let us consider, Are We in the last days, John Hagee – 10 Signs of the Terminal Generation?

“And this shall be the plague with which the Lord will strike all the people who fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh shall dissolve while they stand on their feet, their eyes shall dissolved in their sockets, and their tongues shall dissolve in their mouths.

It shall come to pass in that day that a great panic from the Lord will be among them. Everyone will seize the hand of his neighbor, and raise his hand against his neighbor’s hand;
Judah also will fight at Jerusalem. And the wealth of all the surrounding nations shall be gathered together: Gold, silver, and apparel in great abundance.
Such also shall be the plague on the horse and the mule, on the camel and the donkey, and on all cattle that will be in those (more…)

What Is God’s Economic Stimulus Package?

In today’s economy many are challenged with how to make ends meet. Even the government operates at a deficit in the trillions. By comparison, most individuals do not have that much red in their checking accounts.  Nevertheless, it does not mean that people are not affected by the loss of jobs, houses, and sense of security. Perhaps we should ask, what is God’s economic stimulus package?

Believe it or not, God has a lot to say about economics, many of which lessons if applied would bring about much profit to all.  Here are a few tips to remember during any down turn in (more…)

The forecast for real estate in Israel, bleak.

Peace in the Middle East or in New Jerusalem?

For many, eschatology centers around the
natural realm of national peace involving
the Middle East.

Is eschatology focused on peace in the
Middle East or in New Jerusalem?

Any reasonable person desires peace over
war and bloodshed.

When people or nations civilly work out
their differences, much good results.

While the predominant themes in modern
eschatological views focus on political and
military battles, this was not the focus of
Christ. (more…)
