No, the Antichrist will not come out of the European Union. The myth of the European Union in Bible prophecy is based on a misinterpretation of the ten-horned beast of Daniel 7:7 which is the ancient Roman empire. Due to the influence of Dispensationalists such as John Walvoord, Tim Lahaye and others, Revelation 13 is supposedly a future prophecy of the revivification of a 10–nation confederacy in which it is claimed Italy must be a part.
