The Last of the Last Hour
February 20th, 2020 | Eschatology | No Comment
The Last of the last hour clearly answers the question of the end times events in the Bible, particularly the resurrection, the Messianic temple, the coming of the eternal kingdom of God and the parousia.
The Lord and the apostles' testimony combine to show how critically new the hour of crisis was for those living in the first century generation. In this video we remove all doubt on how to understand and communicate this nearness.
Passages explored are John 4:20-24, 5:28-29, Romans 13:11-12 and 2 Peter 1:16-19.

Does Revelation 20:6 Teach A Separation in Judgment?
Is there a gap of 1000 years between the judgment of the righteousness and the wicked? Some claim such a gap exists. They seek to insert a millennium of 1000 years between the resurrection of the just and the unjust. They believe the 1000 years (the millennium) is a literal thousand years. Kingdom of God Established in Judgment
Isaiah 2:2 is often used as a proof-text for the time of the kingdom to be established. The view of some is that AD 30 marks the time for the establishment of the church. However, the text of Isaiah 2 is much more broad than this narrowly interpretive view.
In fact, the very first verse of Isaiah 2 expresses a burden, a prophetic utterance which means judgment. Thus, to interpret the text without incorporating the primary purpose for which is is written is extremely naive. I once held such a view but had to abandon it ...

The Righteousness of the Law
In Romans 10, Paul speaks of his fellow Jews who sought to attain to righteousness through their own works, a course which left them far short of obtaining the glory of God.
"Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved. For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establishing their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves to the righteousness of God.
This lack of the true knowledge of God caused Paul ...

The Sky Is Falling! The End of the World Is Near, Again?
The End of the World is Almost Here! God will end it all on May 21, 2011. Haven't you heard this? Aren't we about sick of this hype? Don't the people who make this claims know that we can track their record of success (excuse me, failure) from the 80's 90's and early 2000's? Have they ever accurately predicted the end of the world? No! So what makes them think they will succeed this time? They have no more evidence than they had before and they ignore what the ...
