Adoption Belonged to the Old Covenant People Israel
Concerning Israel's adoption, Paul wrote, "For I could wish that I myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my countrymen according to the flesh, who are Israelites, to whom pertain the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the services of God, and the promises; of whom are the fathers and from whom, according tot he flesh, Christ came, who is over all, the eternally blessed God. Amen." (Rom. 9:3-5).
That the apostle is specifically speaking of Israel is evident from verse six. This point cannot be denied. Yet, in ...

Did God Condemn All Body Art?
Does Leviticus 19:28 apply to all body art or just to tattoos? Some argue that Leviticus 19:28 is without restriction, i.e. is not limited to the occult practices of marking the body on behalf of the dead. "You shall not shave around the sides or your head, nor shall you disfigure the edges of your beard. You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you: I am the Lord." (Lev. 19:27-28).

"Land Therapy" for Christian Zionists? What does this mean? It's a kind of therapy that we recommend for those who do not believe God kept His word to give Israel the land promised to them in the Abrahamic Covenant. God made a promise to Abraham that he would give to his descendants the land of Canaan for a possession. He describes the land as follows:
"To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the River Euphrates-- "the Kenites, the Kenezzites, the Kadmonites, "the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Rephaim, "the Amorites, the Canaanites, ...

Is the New Covenant only for Judah and Israel?
Some believe so. They base their reasoning on the bible text which says God would make a new covenant.
"Behold finding fault with them, He says: "Behold the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah." (Heb. 8:6). Quoting from Jer. 31:31, Paul affirms the fulfillment of this prophecy in the soon to be completed New Covenant and consummation of the Old. By virtue of the new, the Old Covenant was becoming obsolete. The time for its ...
Are Your Steps Ordered By the Lord? Psalm 37:23

Â
One item that is important on the agenda of God is that of order. Countless examples in scripture demonstrate the order that God used in both creating and maintaining our world. Are your steps ordered by the Lord? Psalms 37:23. Reading the first chapter of Genesis, we can see an orderliness in the manner in which God proceeded from one creative act to the other.
When we think of the Exodus, Moses led over a 600,000 people out of Egypt, not counting women and children. They marched in orderly ranks. “So God led the people around by the way of ...
