That I May Plant the Heavens, Genesis 1 or the Kingdom?, is part of a text from Isaiah 51:16. The controversy around this text offers three possible solutions for its interpretation. Some believe that it refers historically to Genesis 1:1, but not to a physical creation, rather to the covenantal creation of Israel. Others offer Sinai at the giving of the Law. Yet another group believe it refers to the kingdom age.
And I have put my words in your mouth; I have covered you with the shadow of My hand, that I may plant the heavens, lay the foundations of ...
Is 1 Corinthians 15 Israel’s Resurrection?
December 24th, 2008 | Eschatology | No Comment
Much controversy exists over the
resurrection of the dead. It is often
denied that the 1 Corinthians 15 has
anything to do with Israel.
Is1 Corinthians 15 Israel’s resurrection?
Many see Jesus’ death on the cross as
God’s last word to Israel.
Those who do are very tight-lipped
about anything that speaks of Israel
beyond the cross, (AD. 30).
These are usually found in the Amillennialist camps. The cross becomes their line of demarcation. From that point forward, everything is all about Christians.
On the other hand, there are Dispensationalists who see everything in the scripture after the cross as related to national Israel.

their eyes, the “nursing child” putting
its hand in the cobra’s den.

To answer this question, we’ll note a few
comments from Dungan’s Hermeneutics,
then dive right into the text.
Dungan asks, “How can we know ...

of the heavenly bodies falling from heaven? Do
you believe this must occur in some future end
time program?

moon and stars fall? Click to listen to audio:

Its important to understand this concept in order
to make sense of Bible prophecy. Failure to do so
has led others to viciously attack Christianity as
a false religion.
Why, because they understand that Jesus
promised to return in the first century and
destroy a world including predicting the fall
of the sun, moon and stars.
By starting with Joseph, we ...
