24 Hours to Armageddon? No, this is not a prophecy about an imminent end. However, the Mayan 2012 prophecy is getting a lot of press. A History Channel special begins tonight revealing the sources of the mysterious 2012 date from the Mayan Calendar, Merlin of the medieval times and even the internet. Now that latter one has to take you aback just a bit. Searches on the internet about the end reveals the date 2012! That makes it true, right? Wrong!

The best we may get from 2012 are some self-fulfilling prophecies. Perhaps this is a code date that will prompt a preemptive strike on Iran, the new “scape goat” demanded to justify 21st century colonialist Palestinian holocaust in the Middle East.  Christian Zionism, a blend of right-wing extremist politics and racism disguised as religion continues its support of Zionism’s destructive holocaust of the indigenous people of Palestine whose land they stole and (more…)

Today we continue with the third of our segment of “John Hagee – 10 Roadsigns to the End of the Terminal Generation?” In this, we focus on the claim that Judaism  is the only nation created by a sovereign act of God.  In as clear words as could be stated, Jesus’ parable of the vinedressers exposes the fate of the Jews who rejected Christ, their Messiah.

“But when the vinedressers saw the son, they said among themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him and seize his inheritance.’ So they took him and cast him out of the vineyard and killed him. Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those vinedressers?” They said to Him, “He will destroy those wicked men miserably, and lease his vineyard to other vinedressers who will render to him the fruits in their seasons.” Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures: The Stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone. This was the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes’?

Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it.  And whoever falls on this stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder.” Now when the chief priests and Pharisees heard His parables, they perceived that he was speaking of them.” (Matthew 21:42-44)

Televangelist, John Hagee, Pastor of Cornerstone Baptist church in San Antonio, Texas and best selling author writes and speaks on Bible prophecy. In his Book, Beginning of the End, The Assassination of Yitzhak Rabin and the Coming Antichrist, he lists 10 reasons why our generation will see Christ’s return. In the following we survey John Hagee – 10 Signs of the Final End, Are We The Terminal Generation?

There appears to be no end to the numerous countdowns and endtime signs offered by modern day prophecy preachers. Every generation since the first have had their share of these grossly mistaken prophets. Hagee must join their ranks. Please understand, this is not a personal attack on the man. I do not know him and can only address what he writes and says about Bible prophecy. Much of what we hear about a new world order has to do with domination and power.  Theories abound ranging from the USA and the UK to the Illuminati and the World Bank, the IMF and the European Union to name a few. Others speak of an Obama New World Order erroneously believing Obama is the Antichrist. The idea of the New World Order, is a rehash of old world news. In other words, there’s nothing really new about man’s quest for world domination. A New World Order, Can We Learn From History?

Adam experienced the first world order, a world in which God ruled from heaven. However, not long thereafter, Adam desired to be as God. Needless to say. Rapture-holics Lost at Armageddon,-Kings of
the East or West in the Book of Revelation?,
is a title that qualifies also as a paragraph.

But, here’s a story to explain what it’s all
about. It all happened when during my usual
routine day of relaxation, I received an urgent
phone call from a customer in distress.

Hurriedly, I ran out of the door, jumped in my
pickup and hit the expressway in route to
my customer’s location or so I thought.

My best customer needed service, -right away. The distance, several miles away, required urgency to arrive before the closing hour.

I didn’t want to go. I wanted a way out, but none existed. So, what did I do?  I settled in for the long journey (more…)

Do You Pray For The Kingdom to Come?

As a third grade student, we had devotionals
in our public school classroom everyone
morning which involved the class singing
in unison what is typically known as the Lord’s
prayer, See Matt 6:9–13.

I later learned that this is the prayer that
the Lord taught his disciples to pray. In that
sense, it would more aptly be described as
the disciples prayer. See Lk 11:1ff.

However, after studying the prayer, I
discovered that I could not conscientiously
pray that prayer as Jesus taught his disciples
to pray it. Why is that?

Why Is Rapture Ready Not Ready?

Why are people who sit around waiting for
the Rapture always disappointed at its non-
occurrence?

Why is Rapture Ready Not Ready? Maybe this story
from my grandmother will help to explain why.

My grandmother was a very good cook. She could
fry chicken that would rival Colonel Sanders drool
any day.

One of my deepest regrets is not capturing all of
those savory recipes that we enjoyed during the
time she was with us.

On separate occasions, she taught me how to bake
a pound cake, sweet potato pie, make homemade ice
cream and cook dried beans.

How Can You Be Raptured from Financial Armageddon?

There is no question that a financial crisis was a sign
of the end time which came to pass in the first century.
The book of Revelation speaks of a beast who affected
the entire economy.

Under his designs none but those who had the
mark of the beast could buy or sell. (Revelation 12:17).
This had the net effective of a severe financial crisis.

Have you ever experienced a financial crisis in your life?
I remember back in the 80’s when I came very near
having my automobile re-possessed and within hours
of foreclosure on my house.

At the time, I worked in commission sales full-time, but
it seemed I only got paid part time. The problem had
nothing to do with the business or the economy. Some
thrived.

It had everything to do with my mind-set which largely
operated out of fear. That and the automobile company
pushing my back against the wall with demands for
payment.

Needless to say, I did not have the money. Two months
behind on my car note for about the 3rd time left me
with no wiggle room for a financial escape.

On one day in January 1986, I received a call from the
collection department threatening to pull my car. If that
happened I would not be able to work and make sales.

At my response to the demands of the collection agency,
I never in a millennium could have imagined what happened
next.

Will the Antichrist Come out of the European Union?

No, the Antichrist will not come out of the European
Union. The myth of the European Union in Bible
prophecy is based on a misinterpretation of the
ten-horned beast of Daniel 7:7 which is the ancient
Roman empire.

Due to the influence of Dispensationalists such as
John Walvoord, Tim Lahaye and others, Revelation
13 is supposedly a future prophecy of the revivification
of a 10–nation confederacy in which it is claimed Italy
must be a part.

This is nonsense. The error is compounded in failing to
properly assign the date of Revelation to a Pre-
destruction of Jerusalem time frame and an application
harmonious with first century history.

Additionally, the 10–horned beast of Daniel’s vision
did not refer to 10 consecutive kings or nations, but
was a composite beast, described as having 10 horns.

The ancient nations of Babylon, Medo-Persia and Greece
were swallowed up in the Roman empire hence the
symbols of the lion, bear and leopard imagery of
Revelation 13:2. Compare with Daniel 7:1–6. (more…)
