One item that is important on the agenda of God is that of order. Countless examples in scripture demonstrate the order that God used in both creating and maintaining our world. Are your steps ordered by the Lord? Psalms 37:23. Reading the (more…)

What Is God’s Economic Stimulus Package?
In today’s economy many are challenged with how to make ends meet. Even the government operates at a deficit in the trillions. By comparison, most individuals do not have that much red in their checking accounts. Nevertheless, it does not mean that people are not affected by the loss of jobs, houses, and sense of security. Perhaps we should ask, what is God’s economic stimulus package?
Believe it or not, God has a lot to say about economics, many of which lessons if applied would bring about much profit to all. Here are a few tips to remember during any down turn in (more…)
What Were Moses’ Secrets of Successful Living?

- Image by Christopher Chan via Flickr
By any definition, Moses‘ life was a tremendous success. Success leaves footprints for others to follow. While many examples from Moses could be chosen, for our purposes, we will select three. Before we examine them, let’s take a (more…)
Is Fleshly Circumcision an Everlasting Covenant?
Does God require men to be circumcised today as
he required Abraham’s descendants? Are children
of God today bound under the terms of Genesis 17:13?
Is fleshly circumcision an everlasting covenant?
Did not God make it a part of the gospel promise
made to Abraham?

When Does Jesus Come in His Kingdom?
For the Son of man will come in the glory
of His Father with His angels, and then he
will reward each according to his works.
Assuredly I say to you, there are some standing
here who shall not taste death till they see the
Son of Man coming in His kingdom, (Matthew
16:27, 28).
Jesus promised to come in his kingdom before some who
stood in his presence died. That means he promised to
come in the lifetime of those living in his day.
The phrase, “some standing here,” emphatically declares
that the kingdom of God would arrive before those disciples
died.
This interpretation raises problems for futurists and Rapture
Ready dispensationalists. Here are some difficulties they
must resolve:
-
How a Rapture aligns with an imminent
return of Christ. -
Why Jesus said nothing of the postponement
of the kingdom -
How to maintain the integrity of Christ in the
light of the death of these first century disciples.
When does Jesus Come in His Kingdom? This hotly debated
subject need not be difficult.
How Can You Be Raptured from Financial Armageddon?
There is no question that a financial crisis was a sign
of the end time which came to pass in the first century.
The book of Revelation speaks of a beast who affected
the entire economy.
Under his designs none but those who had the
mark of the beast could buy or sell. (Revelation 12:17).
This had the net effective of a severe financial crisis.
Have you ever experienced a financial crisis in your life?
I remember back in the 80’s when I came very near
having my automobile re-possessed and within hours
of foreclosure on my house.
At the time, I worked in commission sales full-time, but
it seemed I only got paid part time. The problem had
nothing to do with the business or the economy. Some
thrived.
It had everything to do with my mind-set which largely
operated out of fear. That and the automobile company
pushing my back against the wall with demands for
payment.
Needless to say, I did not have the money. Two months
behind on my car note for about the 3rd time left me
with no wiggle room for a financial escape.
On one day in January 1986, I received a call from the
collection department threatening to pull my car. If that
happened I would not be able to work and make sales.
At my response to the demands of the collection agency,
I never in a millennium could have imagined what happened
next.
Who Was Left To Preach The Word
Hi, I appreciate your site, my question is: What are your thoughts on what happened After 70A.D. if the saved were taken up who was left to preach the Word ? Or were they actually taken away physically? I know the Kingdom would never be destroyed, but how was it to be carried on? Your help in this matter is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
