Matthew 24:30
Matthew 24-30, (24:30), speaks of the coming of the Son of Man in the clouds. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Book of Revelation
Revelation or the apocalypse means an unveiling. The book is the message of the unveiling or revealing of Jesus Christ. John the Baptist played a key role in the revealing of Christ to Israel at his first coming.
When asked whether he was the Christ, Elijah (who was to come as prophesied by Malachi 4:5) or the Prophet like unto Moses, (Deuteronomy 18:15f), John denied. (John 1:20, 21)

A Day Is As A Thousand Years For Wrath and Salvation
In our first installment of this topic, we demonstrated from the first half of Psalm 90:3-12, that Moses used a day is as a thousand years to speak of a short versus a long period of time. See that article where we pointed out the various comparisons, all of which pointed to brief periods. The context of Psalm 90 compels the careful reader to conclude the Bible application of the thousand years used by Moses and Peter is of short duration.

A Day Is As A Thousand Years
A common objection to Christ's return in 70 AD is that "a day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as a day." This text from 2 Peter 3:8 is quoted with confidence by those who feel that have the complete refutation of the Preterist view in this one text. However, as the saying goes, that which proves too much proves nothing. Why? It's because there are several problems with how the futurist misuses this text. First, it is used to contradict Peter. Secondly, it is used to contradict Moses. Thirdly, it ...
