The study of the resurrection is one of
great interest and controversy. That
conflict derives from the question of
How does Paul use the term body?
For many, body in resurrection texts
is unquestionable. They take it to be
so obviously literal that an alternate
viewpoint is considered ridiculous.
The following points should help in our
understanding of the body from Paul’s
view point.
First, we must begin with the motif of

The Temple Mount
Are there flaws in the temple rebuilding
theory?
All kids believe in some sort of fairy tale,
whether Santa Claus, Snow White and
the Seven Dwarfs, or in Aladdin and his
magical lamp.
When kids mature into adults, they
generally grow out of fairy tales. Why?
because such fairy tales are easy to
distinguish from reality.
In the world of eschatology, fairy tales
are not so clear especially when men
of prominence, money and power espouse
them before world wide audiences.
Nevertheless, it is not difficult to spot

Some 30 years ago, my wife and our
youngest daughter were playing in
our backyard.
It was a rather large back yard, and
one of the features that sold us on
the house.
We we looking for plenty of room for
our three children to play without
wandering into the streets. Then
one afternoon, while playing in the

Gog and Magog
Perhaps one of the most exploited
prophecies of the Jewish Scriptures,
i.e. the O.T., is Ezekiel 38–39, which
speaks of Gog and Magog.
Who is represented by Gog and Magog,
Russia, Germany, USA, or Iran? You
may be surprised to find the answer.
However, if you’re listening to the likes
of John Hagee you maybe mislead to
believe that Gog & Magog represents

1 Corinthians 15 and Hosea
Much controversy exists over the
resurrection of the dead. It is often
denied that the 1 Corinthians 15 has
anything to do with Israel.
Is1 Corinthians 15 Israel’s resurrection?
Many see Jesus’ death on the cross as
God’s last word to Israel.
Those who do are very tight-lipped
about anything that speaks of Israel
beyond the cross, (AD. 30).

Cenk Uygur published an article in the Huffington Post, Dec. 19, 2008, titled “Not Another Word on Gay Marriage Until They Execute An Adulterer.”
This article is part of the backlash being hurled at Saddleback’s Rick Warren and President elect Barrack Obama.
Barrack Obama and Rick Warren Disagree Over Gay Marriage
Known as “Pastor Warren,” President elect Barrack Obama chose him to give the invocation at the inauguration in January. They differ on the gay marriage issue and other issues, but agree on others such as poverty and civil rights.
Now perhaps you are wondering how an issue like this winds up on a blog about eschatology? Well, after looking at the issue, it is precisely related to eschatology. But, we’ll reserve those comments for later.
Before we go further, understand that I have agreements and disagreements with both Barrack Obama and Rick Warren, so this is not about a defense or condemnation of either of them.

End of the World
During the seventies, I heard a televangelist
speak on end time prophecy. He spoke about
how the Lord could not return until the gospel
had been preached to all the world.
At that time he believed it was impossible to
do, because as far as communication was
concerned, the world was yet an unchartered
territory.
During the 80’s and 90’s we started to hear

Would the Apostles remain alive till
the Son of Man comes? That’s a
simple question. The answer is not
so simple.
One would think that the apostles, long
since deceased, are certainly not roaming
through the streets of Israel.
However, according to the New Testament,
that’s exactly where they should be?
The following statement was published in

Kingdom of God
Is the kingdom of God present on earth?
Perhaps you would ask why, if there is so
much evil in this world would anyone
think that God’s kingdom is here?
Or, how could God be reigning over men
while we yet live on earth? It seems we
have a world that has lost sight of the
unseen.
Perhaps only in the world of religion and
personal development (which is a practical
outworking of religion) do people give
more value to the existence of invisible
realities.

The Great Tribulation
The great tribulation announced by the
prophets Jeremiah and Daniel precedes
the consummation of the Jewish age.
Will we today face the great tribulation?
Many think so. Others believe that an
Arab-Israel (Zionist) war, in the Middle
East will signal an end time Armageddon.
Many labor under an end time myth. It is
believed that we are headed for the great
tribulation, a precursor of an end time battle
of Armageddon.
Jeremiah wrote of the great tribulation. He called the time of Jacob’s trouble. (Jer. 30:7) The time would be so severe that God likens it to men having babies like women in labor. Read the rest of this entry »
