In the 23rd Psalm Book Preview I discuss some details about how my new book, The 23rd Psalm: The Good Shepherd in the Temple of God came about. I had only taught this Psalm about a half dozen times and never really felt I’d done it any justice. Then one day, something clicked and a whole new understanding unfolded. I attempt to communicate a little of that in this audio.
You’ll want to get a copy of this book to really appreciate the Psalm. I didn’t do much reading of other’s materials because I didn’t want their slant to overly influence this unique but very Biblical approach. Even after I wrote the book and reviewed other sites and writings, they mostly had the usual comments. So, I think it’s safe to say, you won’t find a similar approach to the 23rd Psalm as you will find in this book.
