The Blessing of Abraham in Genesis
The book of Genesis records the promise that God would bless those who blessed Abraham and curse those who cursed him. But what exactly does this mean? For many Christians, it means ignorance of who God's people really are.
So many are focused on the Zionist state of Israel that they believe supporting them is doing God service. For some, their knowledge of God is so shallow and their egos are so large that it appears all they care about is to say they understand Bible prophecy is being fulfilled. This is a tragedy and ...

Eschatology Discussions
Recently, there have been some new articles attempting to defend the Amillennial view of eschatology held by the churches of Christ, by men such as Patrick Donahue on Facebook and Ben Vick Jr at his website. I have written and published a response to the latter which you can find at this link, Ben Vick Jr.
The dialogue on Facebook is largely headed up by Don K Preston of the Preterist Research Institute. I've also contributed to responses there on the topic of the earnest of the Spirit in Eph. 1:13-14, demonstrating it was miraculous.

I Will Raise Him Up At The Last Day
This is a video study of the resurrection as presented in the gospel of John. In the common views of resurrection most interpret it from the perspective of a body rising from the ground. However, Jesus expresses the difficulty of understanding his words, per the gospel of John. His experiences and teachings in John always show that when misunderstood he was speaking on an entirely different level than that to which they were accustomed.
This holds true when he encouters the Jews in John 6 where he speaks of being the Bread of ...

Kingdom of God Established in Judgment
Isaiah 2:2 is often used as a proof-text for the time of the kingdom to be established. The view of some is that AD 30 marks the time for the establishment of the church. However, the text of Isaiah 2 is much more broad than this narrowly interpretive view.
In fact, the very first verse of Isaiah 2 expresses a burden, a prophetic utterance which means judgment. Thus, to interpret the text without incorporating the primary purpose for which is is written is extremely naive. I once held such a view but had to abandon it ...

The Kingdom of God Has Come
In an age of "enlightenment" such as that in which we live we yet find that many have difficulty understanding the presence and fulfillment of the kingdom of God.
A few simple texts are suggested for a dialogue on the topic by those who see the kingdom as yet to be fulfilled. Others have chosen a dual fulfillment of the kingdom ascribing texts which connect the arrival of the kingdom with the second coming of Christ as referring to heaven, 2 Pet 1:11; Matt. 25:31, 34.
It is because of the points revealed in the video that ...
