Jesus spoke with religious rulers of his day about the end of a tradition in marriage. Did Jesus see a world without marriage? Lately, there’s been a lot of talk about whether the rights of marriage should be extended to the gay community.
After giving some thought about living in a world without traditional marriages, the following thoughts occurred to me. If there were no marriages, eventually, population numbers would significantly decrease. This would temporarily lower the unemployment rate.

Is The Day of the Lord Near?
The prophets all spoke of the day of the Lord. However, they all spoke of a time that was future to their day. Is the day of the Lord near to us?
Peter records that they did not prophesy for their time, but for a future generation. Abraham, who likewise saw the day of the Lord, (John 8:56),
saw it afar off (Heb. 11:13).

after the coming of Elijah.

An Everlasting Covenant?
Is fleshly circumcision an everlasting covenant? Does God require circumcision today as he required Abraham’s descendants? Are children of God today bound under the terms of Genesis 17:13? Did not God make it a part of the gospel promise made to Abraham? The problem is a misunderstanding of the word “everlasting” as used in certain passages.
